Mark your calendars: starting October 23rd, The Evelyn Swierczynski Foundation will host their annual Holiday Book Drive benefitting CHLA’s Literary Healing program.

Evie loved reading. She always had a book in her hand. When she was admitted to CHLA May 30, 2018, she was greeted by a volunteer from Literally Healing, which offers new books to patients. Evie’s favorite visitors most days were the Literally Healing volunteers, who took the time to know her reading interests and found books she’d enjoy. The program’s goal is to give a child a new book every day, and you can help make that happen through our donation drive.

All NEW * books can be dropped off at the following locations, starting October 23rd through December 4th:

*All books must be NEW – many of these children have compromised immune systems and “gently used” books cannot be given to them.
